NAC resumes flight to Suketar Airport

KATHMANDU, Sep 06:Due to bad weather, flights have been suspended since May at Suketar Airport in Taplejung, and flights have resumed from Monday. Suketar Airport in Taplejung is also the gate leading to the famous pilgrimage site Pathibhara.

Until November, it is considered the season to visit the pilgrimage site. It will be difficult to get here after that because it will begin to snow. Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has begun a direct flight from Kathmandu to this location. According to Ramesh Paudel, NAC' spokesperson, the direct route to Suketar will make pilgrim more accessible.
