PM Dahal to request China to conduct operations PRIA, GBIA

POKHARA, September 1: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government will request China to help kick-start operations from the country's two new international airports; Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara Regional International Airport on his scheduled visit to the country's northern neighbour on September 22.

Speaking at a program held in Pokhara on Friday, PM Dahal shared that he will also request China to reopen the Korala and Ruila border checkpoints which connect the Mustang and Gorkha region of Nepal with China.

He also shared that a discussion was held related to agendas to be raised during his visit. 

He also informed that there are discussions about making a cross-border transmission line from Rasuwa crossing and trading electricity in China.

He said that China is also interested in studying the possibility of a transmission line through Kimathangka crossing as well as the agriculture sector of the country.
