NMA is ready to manage 17 mountains that do not have climbing activities : NMA President Sherpa

KATHMANDU, Aug 31: Nima Nuru Sherpa, the president of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), has stated that the organization is prepared to administer 17 mountains where climbing is not possible.

He stated that 33rd General Assembly of Nepal Mountaineering Association on Thursday, he stated that climbing activities are not being carried out in 17 mountains with a height of 6,500 meters.

He stated tthat the NMA is ready if they are given the responsibility of managing those mountains. Additionally, he added that the organization will aid in publicizing and disseminating information on the global market.
