NAC starts flights from GBIA

KATHMANDU, August 29: Nepal Airlines Corporation has started flights to Hong Kong and New Delhi from the Gautam Buddha International Airport by connecting a transit flight to Kathmandu.

The corporation's aircraft from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia landed at Bhairahawa on Tuesday. The Corporation plans to bring passengers who have booked tickets to Hong Kong and New Delhi to Kathmandu and transit Kathmandu to their respective destinations.

Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson of the NAC, informed that passengers going to both destinations on Tuesday's flights did not board from Bhairahawa as ticket bookings were opened only from Sunday.

According to the corporation's flight schedule, the flight departing from Bhairahawa at 8:15 AM will land in Kathmandu at 9:00 AM. Passengers going to Hong Kong in transit will board the flight to Hong Kong and passengers going to Delhi will board the connecting flight of the Corporation to Delhi. For the convenience of passengers, arrangements have been made to give boarding passes to the destination at the time of check-in and take the luggage directly to the destination, according to the corporation.

Passengers can buy the tickets from the corporation by logging on to the corporation's office or the corporation's website. Earlier, the corporation had been running regular flights connecting Kuala Lumpur with Bhairahawa.
