Preparation underway to hand over management of Tiger Palace Resort

KATHMANDU, August 25:The Himalayan Tiger Investment has started preparations to hand over the management of Tiger Palace Resort, a five-star hotel located in Bhairahawa, to another company. According to Buddhi Sagar Subedi, chairman of the company, preparations have begun to hand over the management of the resort to Tiger Philoxenia within two months.

Tiger Palace was previously owned by the Australian company Silver Heritage Group Limited. The 105-room hotel is still in operation. Himalayan Tiger Investments is now paying the amount owed by the hotel. 

Subedi informed that correspondence has been made with the Ministry of Tourism and the Department of Tourism for the operation of the casino. “We have already written to the ministry and department for hotel operation with the casino. We have asked for an account of the arrears to be paid to the government", Chairman Subedi said.
