Flights to Tarigaun Airport resumes after four months

KATHMANDU, August 25: Flights have resumed at Tarigaun Airport of Dang after four months. The Nepal Airlines Corporation has decided to conduct two flights to the airport through its Twin Otter aircraft three days a week.

Earlier, due to a lack of passengers, the corporation was not able to fill regular flights which led the corporation to halt operations to the airport.  The corporation had been operating four flights a week prior to the halt of operations.

According to Chet Raj Bhatta, head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Tulsipur, the NAC has announced to conduct flights on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday at the airport. However, the flights may still be affected due to weather and other reasons.
