‘Tourist Bus Nepal’ app launched for online ticket booking

KATHMANDU< August 24: Domestic and foreign tourists will be able to purchase bus tickets online. Tourist Bus Association of Nepal has launched a mobile app for easy booking of tickets online, for domestic and foreign tourists.

According to Krishna Acharya, President of the association, a mobile app called Tourist Bus Nepal has been launched for the convenience of tourists who want to purchase bus tickets online. "We have launched this app to make it easier for domestic and foreign tourists to buy tickets. Through this app, one can easily buy tickets for the bus, its seat number, and the destination," he said.

Bhishma Neupane, vice president of the association, shared that preparations are underway to operate a tourist bus from Pokhara to Muktinath from October. According to him, there is no separate bus park for tourist buses in Kathmandu at present, and are having to conduct regular operations from Sorakhhute as a temporary option.
