Gurung elected as president of Nature Guide Association

KATHMANDU, August 21: Anil Kumar Gurung has been elected as the president of the Nature Guide Association Chitwan. The 23rd Annual General Meeting and Convention of the Nature Guides Association, which is working in Chitwan National Park, has elected a new working committee.

As many as four people competed for the post of president of the association. Ramgir Prasad Chaudhary was elected as the vice-chairman of the committee. Other officials were elected unopposed.

Former president Bishnu Thapa informed that Om Prakash Thapa, Treasurer Pushparaj Pathak, Dilip Subedi, Jeetendra Kumar Singh, Mejkan Acharya Tiwari, Sushmita Neupane, Santosh Chhetri Bhatt, Sanjay Dhakal and Badriprasad Aryal were unanimously elected as members of the committee.
