Balloon Nepal to resume operation from September 1

POKHARA, August 21: Pokhara's hot air balloon, an adventure trill for tourists, which was suspended for about three months due to the monsoon, is set to resume operation from September 1.

Balloon Nepal Chairman Bikram Bade shared that tourists can get a close view of Mt Fishtail and the Annapurna ranges and surrounding fares. 

This company, which was flying only one balloon in the past, is now going to fly two balloons which will be operated by an American and a Vietnamese pilot.

Bade shared that there will be a hot air balloon flight from Pame in Pokhara. According to him, the balloon will be flown in two shifts, morning and evening from 5 AM to 9 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM. According to the company, citizens as young as three years old can fly in hot air balloons.

A fee of Rs 9,500 has been set for Nepali tourists to fly in a hot air balloon. Similarly, a fee of $100 has been fixed for tourists from SAARC countries and $130 for tourists from other countries. After paying the fee, breakfast, a two-way transport facility from Lakeside to Pame, and a certificate are also provided with the flight package. If Nepalese tourists want to reserve and take a private flight, Rs 55,000 has been fixed for half an hour and Rs 80,000 for one hour.
