Boat safari brought into operation in Narayani for tourism promotion

KATHMANDU, August 20: Bagaincha Adventure Resort, located at Gaidakot Municipality-11 has been granted permission to operate a boat service from Shikrauli Ghat to Divyapuri at the Narayani river.

Santosh Dhital, the owner of the resort, said that Chitwan National Park has given permission for a boat safari to Bagaincha Adventure Resort for one year from August 18 onwards. "Tourists coming to the resort will be taken to the Shikrauli Ghat of the Narayani River on a bullock cart and from there on a boat safari of about 11 km to Divyapuri", he said, "After the boat safari, a package has been prepared to take the tourists for forest safari in the Divya Community Forest," Dhital said.

A boat safari is going to be conducted in this area under the initiative of the resort and Homestay Tourism Professionals Committee. Earlier, a 55-km long jungle safari has been started from Piprahar in Devchuli to the interior of the park on the initiative of the Hotels, Homestay, and Tourism Professionals Committee.

Santosh Dhital, a businessman who has returned from foreign employment, has run a garden adventure resort at Ganidakot with an investment of around Rs 800 million.
