Oriental Hotel's turnover exceeds Rs one billion

KATHMANDU, August 19:Oriental Hotels Ltd's turnover exceeded Rs one billion in the last fiscal year. The company, operating the Radisson Hotel saw an increase by 95.90 percent to over Rs one billion in turnover in the last fiscal. 

The company has earned a net profit of Rs 178.4 million following an uptick in business after covid, after facing a loss of Rs 24,6 million in the previous year.

Due to a significant increase in business, the expenses of the company have also increased by 52.16 percent. Despite this, the operating profit exceeded Rs 292.1 million. With a paid-up capital of Rs 1.12 billion, the company has assets of 3.54 billion.

As of mid-June, the company's earnings per share has reached Rs 15.82 with a net worth amounting to Rs 193.07 per share.
