Pokhara to be declared tourist capital very soon: CM Pandey

KATHMANDU, August 14: Chief Minister Surendra Pandey of Gandaki Province, has shared commitment to declare Pokhara as the tourism capital.

Inaugurating the completed Jwala Khola Motorable Bridge in Ruptar of Tanahun, CM Pandey said that the Gandaki Province is a province rich in art and culture along with religious and tourist areas, adding that the provincial government is ready to declare Pokhara as a tourist capital very soon.

He said that attention has been given to the protection and infrastructure development of the tourist areas in order to promote the religious and tourist areas within the province and to make them known abroad.
