Mohan Sharma Lamichhane appointed chairman of FNCCI’s Tourism and Air Transport Committee

KATHMANDU, August 14: The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Madhesh Province appointed Mohan Sharma Lamichhane as the chairman of the Tourism and Air Transport Committee on Wednesday. 

Lamichhane, who has been active in Nepal's tourism sector for two decades, is known as a tourism activist who is determined to bring foreign tourists to the province by promoting the beauty, marketing, and promotion of the province to the world.

Previously, he was a member of the Madhesh Province-level tourism promotion committee for Visit Nepal Year 2020 and co-coordinator of the internal tourism revitalization committee formed by the Nepal Tourism Board. With the appointment of Lamichhane, who played an important role in promoting the tourism of Madhesh Province, it is believed that he will make a great contribution to the tourism sector as well.

He is a hotelier by profession and is also the president of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) Madhesh Province, general secretary of the Madhesh Province Federation of Hoteliers, and current president of the Hotel and Tourism Business Association Bara. Also, he is the owner of Apsara Tour and Travels, Hotel New Sagun, and Elephant Village Resort.
