Tourism Act will be brought soon': Tourism Minister Kirati
BHOJPUR, August 13:Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, stated that the Tourism Act would be brought soon.
Minister Kirati stated at an engagement session organized by Bhojpur-Pauwadunga Sewa Samaj here on Saturday that the applicable tourist Act will be released for the country's general tourist growth.
Minister Kirati stated that the Tourism Act would be developed with input from professionals and stakeholders.
"I will begin working on the Tourism Act on Sunday and will solicit feedback for a month," he continued.
On the occasion, he claimed that if the current development paradigm is not revised, the country's balanced development is unlikely.
Similarly, former minister Shakar Prasad Koirala stated that Bhojpur district has a bright future because it offers tremendous development potential.
Bhojpur district might be a model district in the country in terms of education, tourism, agriculture, and sports, and it has asked for stakeholders' help.
Chancellor of Nepal Academy Bhupal Rai, former ministers Hemraj Rai and Tanka Dhakal also spoke at the occasion and gave their perspectives on the general development of the Bhojpur district.
