Foundation stone laid for construction of new terminal at Taksar Airport

KATHMANDU, August 11: Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati has laid the foundation stone of the new terminal building of Bhojpur Airport amid a program held on Friday. The airport authorities had complained of not being able to provide efficient service to the passengers through the old terminal. 
The new terminal will be constructed for Rs 54.5 million after VAT. The new terminal will spread across one ropani and five annas of land with a target to finish it in 18 months, according to Director General Pradeep Adhikari of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).  
RB Arwan Builders and Suppliers Company has taken over the construction of the building. According to the CAAN, the terminal building has been designed in such a way that hundreds of passengers can comfortably use it in case of increased passenger traffic.
