Sanu Sherpa climbs Mt K2 for the third time

KATHMANDU, August 11: Renowned mountaineer Sanu Sherpa, who is known for his climbing all 14 eight thousand meters high mountains in the world twice, has successfully climbed the world's second-highest peak Mt K2 for the third time. 
Sherpa said that he reached the summit of Mt K2 at 12:15 pm Pakistan time on July 27. After climbing Ketu and returning to Kathmandu, he has already climbed six of the 14 eight thousand meters mountains thrice.
Sherpa, who is planning to climb all 14 peaks for the third time said, "Now, I am thinking of climbing Cho Oyu and Shishipang mountains from China around the end of August or the first week of September along with a client. However, nothing can be assured at the moment,” he said.
