TIA records around 2.5 million passengers density in seven months

KATHMANDU, August 11: Around 2.5 million have used the service of Tribhuvan International Airport in the first seven months of 2023. According to data maintained by TIA, the airport has recorded 1.3 million departures and over 1.1 million arrivals from January to July 2023.   
A total of 17,625 flights were recorded over the same time including 8,813 takeoffs and 8,812 landings from the airport. 
During this period, 13,053 tons of cargo has been processed from the airport including 6,412 tons of exports and  6,641 tons of cargo imports to the country..
