Official mobile app launched for further promotion of Visit Bharatpur 2024

KATHMANDU, August 10: Bharatpur Metropolitan City has launched a mobile app to spread awareness and promote the upcoming ‘Visit Bharatpur year 2024.’ Interested travelers are requested to look up the mobile app to get further information regarding the event scheduled for next year. 

Similarly, various programs and committee meetings have been launched to make the ‘Visit Bharatpur Year 2024’ a grand success. Within a few days, a calendar will be released informing interested people of the various programs and events to be held during the visit year, according to Som Sapkota, coordinator of the international committee formed to promote the visit year.  

“Further discussions are underway to introduce attractive programs for the event. 

An official app has also been developed for the promotion of the visit year. Similarly, various hotels and resorts in the region have also introduced attractive packages targeting the visit year with more hotels looking to bring similar packages in days to come,” Sapkota said.  

He also shared that various committees have been formed in all 29 local levels of Bharatpur for tourism promotion and to make the visit year a grand success. For this, sub committees have been formed to organize programs and events targeting the Visit Bharatpur Year.

Further programs will be brought forward in the coming days as well in coordination with the Hotel Association of Nepal, Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal, and Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents among other bodies to promote packages targeting the visit year,” he added. 

According to Sapkota, various star hotels will also provide a discount of up to 50 percent for the visit year under various packages targeting both domestic and international tourists, which is the main goal behind holding such an event. 

He also requested Chitwan locals residing in various parts of the world to play their part in promoting this grand event. “We are also going to hold programs in some countries to promote the Visit Bharatpur year there as well,” he told Tourismmail.
