Passengers required to have  'fit to fly’ report following rise in eye infection across country

KATHMANDU, August 6: With the rising issue of eye strain across the country, Himalaya Airlines has mandated a 'fit to fly' medical report, focusing on the health of its passengers.

As per the airline, the provision has been made mandatory for the passengers participating in its regular flights following the rise of conjunctivitis across the country.

Over the last few weeks, health organisations have reported rising cases of eye infection all over the country.

Himalaya Airlines, which is a joint partnership between Nepal and China, is currently flying to various destinations including United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bangladesh, and China.
