Purnima Shrestha scales Mt K2

KATHMANDU, July 27: Photojournalist and mountaineer Purnima Shrestha successfully scaled Mt K2- the world's second-highest peak located in Pakistan on Thursday. Following her successful ascent of the mountain. Shrestha has thanked all her well-wishers who cheered her through her journey to conquering the deadly K2.

Purnima scaled the mountain along with expedition leader Lakpa Sherpa and other members of the 8K Expeditions. With this, Purnima has ticked off Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu from her to-climb list.
