‘Shiva circuit’ established to connect 13 Shiva temples in Suryabinayak Municipality

KATHMANDU, July 26: With the aim of developing religious tourism, Suryabinayak Municipality has constructed 'Shiva Circuit, with the aim of promoting local religious tourism.  Under the circuit, some of the famous temples of Lord Shiva located from wards one to 10 of the municipality have been connected through a single road with access to both vehicles and pedestrians in an easy manner.

The circuit connects 13 Shiva temples located across a distance of about 14 km including Balkot, Sirutar, Dadhikot, Gundu, Katunje, Sipadol, Nankhel, and Chittpol rural municipalities.

Also, a 244-metre long suspension bridge constructed at a cost of Rs 11.6 million connecting wards nine and 10 of Suryabinayak Municipality has just been put into operation by the will also adjoin the circuit.
