Soaltee Hotel provides financial support to Children's Hospital

KATHMANDU, July 25:Soaltee Hotel Limited has provided a financial support of 2.5 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health. 

The sum is donated to the Institute towards construction of   Satellite Children's Hospital at Damak by the hotel as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Surdshan Chapagain, vice president of Soaltee Hotel Limited, handed over the funds to Dr Bhagawan Koirala, Chairperson of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, on July 24. 

According to a statement, this sum will be utilized to purchase the hospital's physical infrastructure as well as vital health equipment.

According to the hotel, this relationship between the hotel and the hospital is intended to provide additional support for children's health care.

The institute is reported to have contributed to child health therapy in order to make the treatment of complex and serious disorders in children simple and accessible.

Previously, Soaltee Hotel gave 2.5 million rupees as part of its CSR to the establishment of a cutting-edge children's hospital at Hepali Height in Budhanilkantha.

In addition to the children's hospitals planned for Kathmandu and Damak, the institute intends to create satellite children's hospitals in each of the country's seven provinces.
