NAC announces vacancy for the post of Airhostess

KATHMANDU:The national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has announced the vacancy for the post of  fifth-level position Airhostess dated on 16th July, 2023.

The NAC is demanding 30 Airhostess  for which the interested candidates must submit their application by July 30th whereas paying double application fee the application can be submitted by August 6th.The examination fee is set at Rs. 1000. 

The NAC has stated that it will recruit this number of air hostesses to fill empty positions by the June 15th, 2023. It is stated that the candidate's qualification to enter the contract service should be at least the 12th standard or proficiency certificate level.

The condition is that they should be 18 years old and not more than 25 years old. The minimum height requirement is 5 feet 2 inches.

It is also specified that the tattoo shall not be seen when the air hostess wears the NAC uniform. Only individuals who are not disabled/handicapped are eligible to compete for this position, according to the Nepal Airlines announcement.

They will be chosen through a personality test, a written test, a physical and health examination, and an interview.

They would be able to serve for 5 years after receiving their license from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

Contract flight attendants who want to become air hostesses in the NAC must serve for 5 years. Trainee flight attendants who have completed the appointment procedure and have received the final recommendation must earn a CAAN crew member certificate.

They will only have a 5-year deal after that. Air Hostesses who do not obtain a license will not be hired.
