Tourism minister proposed direct flight with ambassador of South Korea

KATHMANDU, July 21:A direct flight between Nepal and South Korea has been proposed by tourism minister Sudan Kirati and Korean ambassador Prak Taeyoung. In the official meeting on Thursday, he proposed a direct flight between Nepal and South Korea.

According to the minister's secretariat, he also talked about the comfort and security of Nepalis who traveled to Korea to work under EPS.

Ambassador Teiyung has stated that he will proceed with these processes politely. A secretariat employee stated, "Along with the two-way tourism promotion of Nepal-Korea, there was a discussion about direct air flights, convenience, and security of Nepali youth going to work."

Nepal and Korea inked a bilateral aviation agreement on September 21, 2004. This arrangement allows for the service of 800 passengers per week and 41,600 people annually. The flying process for this has been begun with Nepal Airlines Corporation. We are currently working on obtaining approval. Diplomatic progress is being made in the process.
