HAN Launches 'Breathtaking Bhaktapur'

KATHMANDU, July 19:Hotel Association Nepal together with Hotel Association of Bhaktapur has launched a program 'Breathtaking Bhaktapur' with a view to extend more nights of tourists in Bhaktapur. A team of prominent tour operators along with media fraternity visited, interacted and explored the potential of escalating tourism in Bhaktapur.  

 On the occasion, HAN President Mr Binayak Shah and HAB president Mr Satyaram Suwal jointly released the booked titled ‘Breathtaking Bhaktapur’ that has featured touristic activities of Bhaktapur district. A digital copy of this book was also released on this occasion. The aim of the book is to provide basic information that Bhaktapur has to offer.

HAN President Mr Shah in his address as the chief guest asserted on the need to highlight the immense potential of Bhaktapur and urged one and all to support this cause. Mr Shah in his speech highlighted the initiative of destination promotion and shared his plans to promote rich culture, unexplored nature and living heritage of this district.

 Mr Satyaram Suwal, president of HAB, thanked all for their presence and hoped to get collaboration from all quarters to take tourism industry of this city in next level.

NATTA president Mr Ramesh Thapa expressed his commitment to circulate the vast potential to its members and shared in his address that he would include it in the itinerary.

Secretary General of HAN Mr Sajan Shakya speaking at the program welcomed everyone for their support and urged media to promote it as the district having diversity in terms of tourism engagement.

 Youb Raj Shrestha, treasurer of HAN, presented the key components of the book and expressed his hope that it would be beneficial to all who want to explore the city that holds a lot of prospect for tourism activities.

The meeting was attended by government representatives, prominent tour operators, business institutions, entrepreneurs among others.
