Bodies of helicopter crash victims airlifted to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, July 12:The bodies of all six people killed in the Manang Air helicopter crash in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday have been airlifted to Kathmandu.

The bodies of six victims have been placed at the  TU Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination, according to Tribhuvan International Airport General Manager Pratap Babu Tiwari.

The body is ready to be returned to the family following the post-mortem. Meanwhile, Manang Air has offered its sympathies to the families of those killed in the crash.

Captain Chet Gurung and five Mexican nationals were on board the helicopter: Sifuentes G Fernando, Gonzalez Abril, Gonzalez Olacio Luz, Sifuentes Gonzalez Maria Jose, and Sifuentes Rincon Ismael.
