CAAN approves Shree Airlines regular flights

KATHMANDU, July 04:After a comprehensive technical inspection, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has granted permission for three Shree Airlines aircraft to resume regular operations.

Following a technical examination on Monday morning, the CAAN's Flight Safety Standards Department granted clearance to operate three Shree Airlines planes, two Bombardier Dash Q-400 and one Bombardier CRJ.

According to Anil Manandhar, the airline's marketing manager, all three Shree airlines planes have gone to different places.

"Three planes have been flying since morning after technical checks," he said, "one plane is grounded for inspection." Will most likely begin flying routinely tomorrow.'

The plane that took off from Kathmandu at 3:30 pm on Saturday failed to land at Dhangadhi due to mechanical difficulties and returned to Kathmandu within an hour.
