NAC employees' objection to Yogesh Bhattarai's statement

KATHMANDU, July 01:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) employees have objected to a statement made in Parliament by MP and CPN (UML) Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai.

Employees have objected, claiming that Bhattarai made a falsified and factual statement undermining National Airlines.

The NAC has three thousand employees, according to Bhattarai. On Friday, the NAC's trade union, which brought attention to the comment, released a statement objecting to it.
 
"A few weeks ago, the Hon'ble former Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai, stated in the Parliamentary Committee of the Honorable Parliament that the number of employees working in the NAC is 3,000, and that the ground service is hypocritical and false, and the statement made by the Yogesh Bhattarai in a way that undermines the national flag airlines carrier NAC itself, has drawn the serious attention of this joint trade union."

According to the statement, the NAC now has 840 permanent employees, 501 contract and salaried employees, and a total of 1,341 personnel.
