VITOF Nepal to organizes Rice Planting Festival at Belkotgadhi

KATHMANDU, June 28:This year, the Village Tourism Promotion Forum Nepal (VITOF Nepal) will host a Rice Planting Festival, as it does every year. This year's Rice Planting Festival will be place in Nuwakot at Belkotgadhi.

According to Gopal Thapa, president of VITOF Nepal, rice planting will be celebrated on Asar 15 (30th June) in collaboration with Belkotgadhi rural municipality.

Thapa also stated that the rice planting program's chief guest will be Minister of State for Tourism Shushila Shirpali Thakuri.

"Agriculture, water resources, and tourism are the main contributors to Nepal's economy." "We have been organizing a rice planting festival with the goal of providing employment to a large number of people and making them dependent on their souls," stated Thapa.

Hundreds of mountains, including Gaurishankar, Dorje Lhakpa, Langtang, Sanjen, Ganesh, Manaslu, Annapurna, and the Kerung region of China, may be seen from the historic Belkotgarhi.

Similarly, there are  Kathmandu Valley, Kakani, Shivpuri, Dhading's valleys and hills, Makwanpur's hills, Nuwakot Jhiltung, 3 municipalities of Rasuwa. Trishuli Bazar, Bidur, Battar, and Pipaltar may also be seen from here.'
