Armed police force and their dependant families get a special discount on cable car ticket

KATHMANDU: IME Group's cable car companies, Chandragiri Hills, Maulakali Cable Car, and Lumbini Cable Car, will offer armed police officers and their dependents a 20% discount on cable car tickets.

The Armed Police Force headquarters and all three cable car firms signed a concession deal on Thursday.

Active armed police officers, retired armed police personnel, dependant families, as well as teachers and staff at Nepal APF School, will receive a 20% reduction on cable car ticket prices, according to the agreement.

To receive this discount under the Armed Police Force's welfare scheme, current armed police personnel must show the identity card provided by the relevant office, retired armed police personnel must show the pension lease, and dependent families must show proof of relationship.

The deal was signed by Senior Superintendent of Armed Police Pravin Kandel and Rudra Paudel,company representative  of Maulakali cable car and Lumbini Cable car, General Manager Sanjiv Thapa on behalf of Chandragiri Hills.

The signing event was attended by Abhishek Bikram Shah, Director of Best Resort under IME, as well as members from the IME Group and the Armed Forces.
