Preparations underway for Dragon Boat Race in Pokhara

POKHARA, June 22: The Nepal-China Dragon Boat Race Festival, which will begin on Friday at Fewa Lake in Pokhara, preparations has been completed. According to the organizer, all preparations for the tournament, which will be organized in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy, the Pokhara Metropolitan City, and the Nepal Tourism Board, have been completed.

The competition, which will take place on June 8 and 9, will include eight teams, four of which are Chinese and four of which are Nepali. The competition will feature the Sichuan Daigon Boat Team, Yuwan Dragon Boat Team, SG Dragons, Singapore, China-Nepal Friendship Dragon Boat Team Pokhara, Nara Dragon Boat Team Nepal, NRCA Boat Team Nepal, Fewa Lake Dragon Boat Team, and Pokhara Metropolitan Dragon Boat Team.
