Electric shuttle buses operated at TIA

KATHMANDU, June 18: An electric shuttle bus has begun service from Tribhuvan Airport's Golden Gate to the domestic terminal. Previously, microbuses ran from Golden Gate to the terminal. According to airport spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, the electric shuttle bus began operations on Friday after the microbuses were removed. This service, he said, will be provided for free.

This service will also aid travelers disembarking from domestic flights to reach the Golden Gate, as well as those arriving from foreign flights and boarding domestic planes.

Air passengers coming by public transport can also reach the domestic terminal by taking this bus. Now two shuttle buses have been put into operation.
