More than 1.6 million domestic air passengers in five months

KATHMANDU, June 17: Over 1.6 million people flew within the country from Kathmandu Airport in the first five months of 2023.

According to Tribhuvan International Airport figures, 811,307 persons have departed Kathmandu in the first five months of this year. In the meantime, 8 lakh 19 thousand 643 people have arrived in Kathmandu.

The number of travelers entering Kathmandu exceeds the number of passengers leaving Kathmandu.

International travellers have climbed faster than domestic passengers in the last five months. In the first five months of the current year, there were 1.843 million international travelers, according to the airport office.
