Manakamana Cable Car receives 1.5 lakh visitors in Jestha

KATHMANDU, June 16:In 11 months, 1 million 21 thousand visitors have used the Manakamana cable car service. According to the company, this is the highest number in 25 years, with 1.5 lakh visitors using the service in Jestha (May 15 to June 15).

So far, we have served 1 million 21 thousand 239 visitors. According to the company's Executive Director, Rajesh Babu Shrestha, a previous monthly record of 1,35,272 was set in Jestha of 2075/76, which was broken this year.

According to Shrestha, 4700 visitors used the service on a daily basis in jestha of this year.

Similarly, in 11 months, 269,000 Indian visitors have used the service. In addition, he stated that 26.41% of the total number of visitors are Indian and 69.08% are Nepali.

The company estimates that the number of passengers will reach 11,50,000 this year.
