Committee formed to study establishment of Raithane University submitted its report

KATHMANDU, June 14: The Raithane Art and Culture University Establishment Study Committee has submitted a report. The committee prepared a report after 45 days of study and research.

In the report, the definition of Raithane, the skills of different castes, art, and culture have been identified. Professor Rajan Mukarung, a member of the committee, has said that it is recommended to include the community participation (Guthiyar) system, which will put less burden on the state to run the university.

A 5-member committee chaired by Dr. Man bahadur BK submitted a 33-page long report.

Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, said that the remaining work of the university establishment process will be carried forward after a thorough study of the report.

The members of the committee were Professor Rajan Mukarung, Mundhumist Bhogiraj Chamling, Legalist Geeta Chaudhary, and Dr. Suresh Suras as member secretaries.
