Budget for Tarigaon Airport is ensured through CAAN: Finance Minister

KATHMANDU, June 14:Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat has said that the budget of Tarigaon Airport in Tulsipur of Dang will be ensured through the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

On Monday in the House of Representatives, when Congress MP Deepak Giri raised a question about the non-allocation of budget for Tarigaon Airport, Finance Minister Mahat replied that the budget would be ensured through CAAN.

"The budget for Tarigaon Airport is ensured through CAAN. This airport is important. As it is a place to serve the old Rapti zone, it will be taken forward," he said.
