Tourism Sisterhood Nepal Association provides training to women in tourism field

KATHMANDU, June 12:The Tourism Sisterhood Nepal Association (TSNA)successfully organized a program aiming to develop the capabilities and leadership abilities of women in the tourism field. The program was conducted on June 10th at Hotel Le Himalaya, situated in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. 

The trainer of the program, Sarala Karki, gave leadership development training to women working in the tourism sector. Despite being aimed at women, the program had an overarching objective to increase leadership ability in general. So, Seventy women and men working in the tourism sector participated in the training.

The President of the Tourism Sisterhood Nepal Association, Anupa Budhathoki, informed that the event was organized to empower women working in the tourism sector and develop leadership. The guest speaker of the program, Sunil Sharma, said that empowerment is necessary for women to move forward. 

The training was conducted by Rozina Ranjit, and the association's vice president, Junu Maleku, general secretary Yubika Bhandari, former president Pawana Shrestha and others participated in the training.
