Himalaya Airlines to resume Beijing flights after a three-year hiatus

KATHMANDU, June 12:Himalaya Airlines will resume Beijing services after three years, with one flight per week at first.

Himalaya Airlines, a private international airline,  to resume the Kathmandu-Beijing trip after a three-year hiatus. According to company sources, the business is planning to operate one flight per week to this destination beginning June 24th.

"For the time being, we will only operate one flight per week." We will expand the number of flights based on passenger demand. "Now we're flying to Kunming and Beijing," sources stated. We will eventually begin flights to more Chinese destinations.' According to sources, this flight will only be available for one day on Saturday.

The company had been operating regular flights to five cities in China including Beijing, Chongqing, Changsha, Nanning, and Goyang before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the infection came under control, the company resumed flights to Kunming from May last year.

Throughout the Covid period, the company flew freight charters in China. Even present, the company operates cargo charter flights to locations other than Kunming.

Himalaya Airlines now operates four aircraft, three 180-seat Airbus 320-214 and one 128-seat Airbus 319-115 series, to diverse locations such as Dubai, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and China.
