Applications open for 9th Glocal Teen Hero

KATHMANDU:Golchha Group has announced that the application for the ninth edition of 'Glocal Teen Hero (GTH) Nepal -2023' has opened in a press conference held on Thursday.

This year's 'Global Teen Hero Nepal' will be announced on September 1, 2023, as part of the award program and conference.

According to company, 'Glocal Teen Hero' is a program of Glocal Private Limited whose goal is to express the motivation and passion of youngsters and to recognize the effective job they accomplish in society.

Through the title, the organization believes that it may provide greater energy for the development of entrepreneurial thinking and creative beginnings in teens.

Beginning in 2015 with a focus on teens in Kathmandu, it has since expanded its activities to provide a national platform for all teenagers in Nepal by 2016. Glocal Tin Hero will be available in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh in 2019, 2020, and 2022, respectively.

Eight Nepalese teens have been named 'Global Teen Hero Nepal' so far.

On September 1, 'Glocal Teen Hero Nepal' will be held. According to reports, the program will be held in the presence of celebrities from education, entrepreneurship, diplomacy, and other spheres.

Seema Golchha, Director of Golchha Group Private Limited, Adarsh Awasthi, Country Director of Coca-Cola Company, Saurabh Jyoti, Director of Jyoti Group of Companies, Caroline Spannuth Verma, Representative for Nepal of UNICEF Nepal are believed to be on the judging panel.
