Nepal Telecom launches Fiber internet service in Jumla and Kalikot

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has launched NT Fiber Services (FTTH) in Jumla and Kalikot in Karnali Province.

According to Telecom, the service was launched in Kalikot on 24th May and in Jumla on 25th May.

Milan Shrestha, Director, Regional Directorate of Telecom, Surkhet, Karnali Province, handed over the necessary CPIs to the customers in both districts and launched the NT Fiber service.

Using the latest technology through NT fiber, now the service customers in that area can use a telephone with HD quality voice, high-speed internet, and television service from the same cable.

Earlier, the company has already provided FTTH services in Surkhet, Salyan, Dailekh, Jajarkot, and Rukum West of Karnali Province.

The currently available offer of Fiber to the Home (NT Fiber) service can be availed of four facilities at a time.

According to the company, you can use high-speed internet as well as television, telephone service, and mobile data at the same time.

Nepal Telecom has named this service Three Plus One, meaning 'now three plus 1 in one', as four facilities can be used according to the needs of one wire.

Currently, the FTTH package, which is the only data facility available under the spring offer, is available for 8000 rupees per year.

Similarly, 20 Mbps internet, 3000 minutes of voice service, and NTTV service are provided to the customers who take the package including NTTV for Rs. 12,000 per year.
