NAC announces flight from Bhairahawa to Kuala Lumpur
KATHMANDU, May 17:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has planned to operate regular flights from Bhairahawa's Gautam Budh International Airport. NAC has released the schedule for regular flights beginning on 12th June 2023.
The NAC has announced that it will operate regular flights on the Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu route. According to Ramesh Paudel, the NAC's spokesperson, the first phase, it has been decided to make one flight a week.
According to a press release from the national flag carrier, the one-way travel from Bhairahawa to Kuala Lumpur would cost Rs12,700, while the return ticket will cost Rs14,720 per person.
The NAC has opened ticket bookings on this route.
The flight will be launched by the NAC in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
In the future, the airline plans to run a shuttle bus service from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur International Airport to help travelers. Following that, the NAC says they can use the service from Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, as well as from Johor Bahru to Kathmandu and Bhairahawa.
According to market demand and NAC market management, the NAC will increase the number of flights by acquiring permission to fly to more destinations.
