Nepal Airlines to operates twice weekly flights between Kathmandu and Resunga

KATHMANDU, May 10:Nepal Airlines will begin flying to Resunga Airport in Gulmi on Friday.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) granted NAC permission to operate two flights each week on Tuesday. NAC will fly Kathmandu-Resunga on Friday and Tuesday, according to the CAAN.

For the flight, the NAC has already reached an agreement with Resunga Municipality. The tariff for this route will be Rs 6,500.

Resunga Airport's foundation stone was placed in 2063 BS. Regular operations began in 2071 BS, followed by an unpaved runway test flight in 2075 BS.

According to the airport management, approximately 330 million rupees have been spent on the airport's construction.
