Passengers traveling to Japan requested to carry document of destination

KATHMANDU, May 10:Passengers flying from Kathmandu to Japan must carry a document that clearly and reliably explains the purpose of their trip. Nepal Airlines issued a notification on Tuesday, requesting that customers purchase tickets only after thoroughly comprehending all of the entrance conditions stated by the Japanese government at the time of purchase.

Recently, the airline made such a request, claiming that immigration authorities have been denying entrance to Japan after arrival for a variety of reasons, including the fact that the purpose of trip from Kathmandu is unclear. Otherwise, the related travel agency and the traveler himself will be responsible for the immigration fines and other expenses incurred.
