Simrik Air helicopter crashes one killed, four injured

KATHMANDU, May 05:A Simrik Air helicopter crashed in Sankhuwasabha, killing one person. Bhotkhola-4 a helicopter delivering materials for the Upper Arun hydropower project crashed in Jijingkha, Siprung, killing one person.

There were five individuals on board the chopper, including Bhabin Gurung, who was acting as an assistant. The remaining injured are being treated at Kathmandu's Medicity Hospital.

The helicopter, registration number  9N-AJZ, crashed upon landing. The helicopter was carrying materials for the Upper Arun Hydroelectric Project.
