Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight to Kathmandu makes emergency landing at Patna

KATHMANDU, May 05:Due to mechanical issues, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight destined for Kathmandu made an emergency landing at Patna's Jayaprakash Narayan Airport on Friday.

The Boeing 737 flight carrying 77 passengers from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Kathmandu was diverted to Patna due to technical problems. According to the Indian news agency PTI, the plane landed owing to an issue with its left wing.

Fire engines from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) were maintained on standby. Following the safe landing, Air India engineers addressed the plane's issue. The plane took off just after 4 pm towards Nepal. At 4:58 p.m., the plane touched down at Tribhuva International Airport.
