Simrik Air helicopter crash in Sankhuwasabha

KATHMANDU, May 05: In Sankhuwasabha, a helicopter crashed. A Simrik Air helicopter carrying carrying goods of Upper Arun Hydropower crashed.

According to the District Police Office Sankhuwasabha, the details of the incident are yet to come.

Chief District Officer of Sankhuwasabha, Shiva Kumar Karki, said that the locals had informed about the helicopter accident in Siprung of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality Ward No. 4, but no detailed information was provided. "A police team was dispatched to the scene, and the police team has already left," Karki said.

The helicopter was transporting soil, stone and concrete materials needed for the hydropower laboratory from a place called Gola. For that, the project had entered into an agreement with Simrik Air.
