NRNA organized interaction program in Malaysia

KATHMANDU, May 01:Non-Resident Nepali Association(NRNA) organizes an interaction program in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The program was held on April 29, 2023, at the Hotel Grand Continental. The program was conducted to discuss how joint collaboration can promote Nepal’s tourism in Malaysia.

Senior Officer of Nepal Tourism Board, along with 28 other participants from NRNA, Nepal Tourism Board(NTB), Malaysian-based travel and tours operators, and Society Of Travel and Tours Operators(SOTTO) participated in the event.

The program highlighted how tourism is a major portion that contributes to Nepal’s GDP and how coordination with Malaysia on this matter can provide revenue, employment, and further tourist flow to Nepal. There were discussions to create marketing campaigns and organize cultural exchange programs. The participants believed that collaboration with the governments, embassies, and tourism organizations from both nations would be mutually beneficial.

The participants from NTB, SOTTO, etc were eager to work together with NRNA to organize further plans and programs for the development of the tourism sector in Nepal.
