Fly Dubai aircraft  safely on its way to destination: tourism minister Kirati

KATHMANDU, April 24: After a technical issue with Fly Dubai's aircraft, the plane that was held in Nepali sky has returned to Dubai.

Sudan Kiranti, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, informed via social media that the aircraft had departed for Dubai.

"Fly Dubai aircraft is going safely to its destination; no one should be concerned." "Best wishes to everyone," he remarked.

At 9:20 p.m., a burst of fire was noticed in one of the engines of the aircraft, which took off from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. Flames were spotted coming out of the aircraft from Kathmandu and Lalitpur.

Then the aircraft was held in Nepal's sky. The aircraft was allowed to depart after it could safely reach Dubai with one engine.

Four planes of Air Arabia, Malaysian Air, Singapore Air, Buddha Air are held in Nepalese skies.
