Ministry of Labor requested information from EPS Korea over the high cost of air travel

KATHMANDU, April 23:The Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security has requested an explanation from the Employment Permit System (EPS) Korea on the high cost of plane travel from Nepal to South Korea.

According to Sudan Kirati, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, an explanation has been demanded through the Ministry of Labor to respond to EPS within three days over the highly costly ticket to Korea.

Minister Kirati informed them that they were asked how much the ticket to Korea from EPS costs and how much profit is produced each individual.

Korean Airlines has been asked to provide information on how many single passengers it has carried so far, as well as the total ticket expenditure.

Similarly, the ticket price charged by Korean Airlines is 185,000 rupees, but only about 70,000 fares are required through transit.The ministry has inquired about EPS Korea as to why Korean Airlines has charged exorbitant prices.
