Storm-affected flights on resumes

KATHMANDU, April 21:Air flights from Tribhuvan International Airport that were disrupted by the storm have resumed.

Domestic and international flights interrupted by the storm have resumed, according to Airport General Manager Pratap Babu Tiwari.

The storm that began in the afternoon impacted the flight. Domestic flights were 'delayed,' while some foreign flights were 'hold,' due to the storm. Vistara Air from New Delhi, India, and Qatar Airways from Doha, Qatar, were both hold.

According to the weather prediction section of the Department of Water and Meteorology, several parts of the country are experiencing light to transitory rainfall due to the effect of western winds as well as local winds. Since the afternoon, there has been light to intermittent rain in Kathmandu Valley.
